Uniuyo Robbery Incidence at CBN Hall - VC Sympathized with Students

The management of University of Uyo sympathized with the student community over the loss of properties after a robbery attack took place in the institution on Sunday night.
There was said to be a robbery attack at the CBN hall as well as some lecture halls in the University annex on the night of 12th of February 2016. 


The gunmen dispossessed students who were reading during night class at various locations in the school of their laptops, phones and other valuable items. There are also speculations that some female students were raped, although this has not been confirmed.

Important message for University of Uyo Students after massive robbery incident took place.
The semester's examination was slated to begin today, 13th of February 2016. However, the University management decided to shift the examination because of the incident. According to a statement released by the registrar, Mr. Aniediabasi Tim, all exams scheduled to hold from the 14th of February will still be written. But the exams which were supposed to be written today 13th of February will be shifted to a later date which will be communicated in due course to the student community.
