Courses offered in Uniabuja | FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE UNIABUJA

The Faculty of Social Science, University of Abuja started in 1990 as a part of the Faculty pf Arts and Social Sciences. After several reorganizations, the Faculty of Social Science as it is presently constituted came into being in July 2000. The Faculty is made up of four departments which are Economics, Geography, Political Science and International Relations

and Sociology. Plans are being made to start new programmes in Demography, Psychology, Mass Communication and Urban and Regional Planning. The Faculty is situated on the Mini Campus of the University which is in Gwagwalada, a satellite town of the FCT located along Lokoja-Kaduna Highway.
