School of Basic Medical Sciences

The School of Science at FUTO like any other Outstanding University Science Program teaches students the Principles of Math and Science. It enjoys a national and international reputation for the quality and research studies undertaken quite consistently. Pioneering major research studies in Africa, students here enjoy an understanding of the complex social, political, economic and environmental implications of new technological products and processes.

Our students have the opportunity to work alongside their faculty mentors on contemporary research programs as many faculty members involve undergraduates in their research. Many students make innovative contributions to this and are included as authors. FUTO's School of Science students learn to communicate effectively and excel tremendously. Graduates of our school go on to establish outstanding records of achievement not only in technical fields but also in academia, business, government, and as leaders in their community.
